Yacht On The Bay

A quiet moment on open water, the hush just after sunset when the world softens into colour and sound recedes. Overall, I wanted the composition to feel open and contemplative, lots of negative space, gentle colour transitions, and the quiet suggestion of movement as the sail leans slightly, as if caught by a soft breeze. The result is meant to evoke that small, private moment of calm that comes when you find yourself alone, watching colour settle into the night. 
This painting is painted on the edges, so a frame is not required.
