This photo was taken while walking through Cradle Mountain in Tasmania during the rain and I have tried to capture the soft light and wet atmoshere but with the sun still shining through the trees. I have used loose thick brush marks to create a scence of movement in the water and the foliage. I utilise saturated colours to emphasise the hidden colours in the water. Your eyes are taken down to a sundrenched clearing through the overhanging tree branches.
