Venus Dreams

In this work, I reimagine Venus not as something distant or untouchable, but as something deeply human—resting, dreaming, and held by the world around her. She is suspended between earth and water, wrapped in a quiet stillness that feels both fragile and powerful.

I built this piece through layers of colour and movement, letting thousands of small, circular forms grow organically across the surface. They became like blossoms, currents, or even thoughts—rising and falling around her body. The upper field carries warmth and light, while the lower tones deepen into cool violets and blues, grounding her in something more introspective and unknown.

For me, Venus Dreams is about surrender. It’s about allowing yourself to soften, to be carried, and to exist without needing to hold everything together. There’s a vulnerability in that—but also a kind of strength that doesn’t need to prove itself.

This is a large, immersive piece, designed to pull you in slowly. The longer you sit with her, the more she reveals—small details, shifting moods, and a quiet sense of calm that lingers beyond the canvas.
