This is a limited-edition print on stretched canvas. My first painting of Willy Wagtails was commissioned by someone who saw one of my paintings of blue wrens in an art gallery and asked me to create a similar painting with Willy Wagtails. The painting had a special meaning for her. After losing a loved one a Willy Wagtail started appearing in her window and she felt this was her partner saying he was still with her. I've since learned that other people believe this too and, for this reason, I feel these have been my most successful paintings to date. To me, Willy Wagtails are special birds, they are cheeky, mischievous and very cute and I just love painting them. I hope they bring a special meaning to you too. A smaller sized print is also available (30cm x 30cm). Enquire about pricing.
