"Trigg Days" - Landscape Painting

"Trigg Days" is a medium sized piece showing the glorious Trigg Beach in Perth on a hot summers day. I was having lunch with a friend on one of the hottest days in Perth, a blistering dry heat, and the only table we could get was outside in the roasting sun.
So making the best of the situation, many cold drinks were had and a beautiful photo taken of the flat, cool water.

I loved the photo for its simplicity, no waves and no crowds of people, just the simple blue of the water with the busyness of the surrounding plants contrasted against it.

This painting is on UNSTRETCHED canvas so it will need to be stretched and even framed if you like. So you will lose approximately 10cms on each side but that will wrap around the edges nicely creating a seamless edge. Once stretched, the piece should measure approximately 27" x 39" or around 70cm x 100cm.
