Inspired by our Australian sunsets and sunrises. Ghost Gum Tree Sunset Outback textured abstract, 40cm x 50cm. O.K I am very obsessed with my ghost gum trees lately and the outback inspired backgrounds, but I just love painting them. They bring back many adventurous and fun memories of travelling through the centre of Australia and living in Darwin for 6 years. I always have a deep connection with my past travels and I express the memories through colour and subjects in my artwork. The background has a very rustic feel of burnt oranges, reds, browns, blacks, yellows, blues, turquoise, pinks, metallic golds and beige. The tree is also textured very textured.
