The Secret Garden

I painted this scene as a quiet, slightly dreamlike corner of a park, a place meant to feel both familiar and a little otherworldly. At the centre is a small, arched footbridge inviting you to step across rather than to traverse a vast expanse. The bridge functions as a motif of transition, a moment between places, and a pause in movement. The overall effect I aimed for is contemplative and slightly nostalgic, a memory of a stroll through a park rendered in amplified colour and simplified form so the feeling lingers after you look away. 
This artwork is painted on the edges, so no frame is required.
The painting is signed on the bottom, right side of the frame, and a certificate of authenticity is supplied.
