Painting from life on a beautiful Spring day. White Iceberg roses in full bloom, a beautiful white ceramic jug handmade in Italy and the simplicity of painting on "white" on bright paper culminates in a fresh, light filled loose and abstracted work.
About the treasured jug:
Ceramiche I.M.A. is located in Montelupo Fiorentino where the art of producing ceramic established itself in The Middle Ages. The fortune of this center is linked to its position along the river Arno's valley, with its clay deposits, essential for the production of ceramic.
Work is unframed size on 100% cotton rag paper using finest artist grade pigment ready for your own choice under glass with final size determined by matboard and framing size
