Inspired by an ariel view of Kalbarri in Western Australia north of Perth. Fascinated by the colours and shapes of the landscape I began by placing shapes, lines and colour to the canvas. Gradually a story began to appear but what resulted in the end was something quite different to my initial reaction to the landscape.
