Tequila Girl

Artist Statement: This is a one of a series of still lifes I am currently painting,   My daughter organized for me to be given a ceramic girl for mothers day, she got everyone to put in and the others were like 'why are we buying Mama a doll- she doesn't like dolls.' They gave it to me and I took off her head and took a sip and said, 'she's filled with Tequila ' and everyone said, 'That explains everything!' There is also a dragon teapot in here that travelled from hong kong. 

This work is acrylic on 91 X 91 cm on Premium Professional Canvas, stretched onto a kiln dried frame, wired ready to hang, signed on the front and sent with an artist cv and certificate of authenticity.

This work is sealed with a Conservationist Varnish. The conservationist quality varnish means that you can wipe the painting free of dust with a damp cloth, if you need to, which will preserve its life. Conservationist quality varnish is essential as it doesn't yellow or crack with age and will preserve your painting for posterity.

This work is sent without an exterior frame. The work is painted on the sides so that if you decide to hang it as it is without an exterior frame it will still look lovely from any angle. No ugly white sides. If adding a frame I suggest matching your home rather than the painting ie if you have a lot of timber use a timber frame etc.

I try to give an accurate example of the size of the work insitu but these are examples only and do not replicate your own space so please make sure to measure your space for the size of the work - don't guess.
