Sunrise over the river.

On my way to teach a pastel class last week I was mesmerised by the sunrise light over the Huon River. I suddenly decided to turn around and drive back to where I could safely park and get some reference material. A quick sketch and a dozen photos later and I was back on the road to class. Later that day I set up my pastels and used my references to create this glowing rendition of that morning's sunrise.
