I have used non natural colours and saturated colours to build the form and not necessarily realism with flat sections to emphasise the soft outline and colours in some of the fruits. I use a bold pallette of moody ochres and more primary colours for contrast. I like to create form through colour interaction. I have usewd a heavily textured undercoat to contrast with the soft fruit forms. I have used a matching vibrant colour for the wooden floater frame.
