A small watercolour sketch of the rural landscape near Lithgow. I wanted to catch the atmosphere of storm clouds buidling and the wind picking up. I have used a wax resist layer drwan diagonlly to give a sense of tension. The picture is small and a perfect piece to gift to someone starting out collecting original art. The painting is accompanied by a bevelled pink cardboard matte, ready to frame.
