Somewhere Softly

This is one of a kind original artwork consists of acrylic paint. 'Somewhere Softly' is an imagined landscape where colour, texture and pattern intertwine. I wanted to create soft rolling forms with delicate marks echoing the rhythm of grasses, wild growth, pathways and waterways that all drift beneath a vast quiet sky with hints of soft rain falling. This is my dreamlike place of calm and serenity, an escape for the senses and to quieten any outside noise.  I used my favourite colour palette of greens, blues, ochre and hints of blush pink that all work perfectly with this gentle landscape artwork.

This artwork consists of professional quality canvas that is varnished for protection, the sides are painted in a pale green colour, signature is on the front and back and includes a certificate of authenticity.  Images of artwork with framing is an indication of how this would look framed.
