Some Place Like This

"A place where the weight we carry is lifted away with the breeze. Where the waves and tide don't just wash away sand but also the ache from our hearts.

Here, time is not rushed. 

The sky blushed pink with the fall of dusk, and rain-scattered greys evoke a held breath finally released. Hope here is not in grand gestures, but in the hush and solace between waves meeting shoreline and light breaking through cloud. Distractions fall away and what's left is the stillness and calm we seek within. 

This is where I go to let go. Some place like this."
