Some of those Paths We Walked were Filled with Sunshine

Artist Statement about the work: This work is about the paths we take in life, physically and emotionally. Paths that are sometimes jumbled and we can't see the end, or loop back over themselves, sometimes darker and sometimes filled with sunshine  but in the end the paths lead us to those we love and belonging. 

This work is Oil and Acrylic 122cm X 122cm on 100% Cotton Acid Free Canvas, signed on the front and sent with an artist CV and certificate of authenticity. The work is sent in a roll ready for stretching - this is taken into account in the price. 

The painting is  sealed with a conservationist Gloss Varnish  which provides a beautiful finish for the paint and is long lasting so also gives the painting posterity.  The conservationist quality varnish is essential as it doesn't yellow or crack with light and age and means that you can wipe the painting free of dust with a damp cloth if you need to which will also preserve its life.

The painting is painted on the sides so if hung stretched without an exterior frame it will still look lovely from any angle (no ugly white sides). I actually hang all large works in my house without exterior frames because I feel that allows the paintings to continue beyond its borders. But this is just my personal preference  If you would like to see an image of the work framed just message me and I will upload one for you.  

If  getting a quote from a framer (and they vary greatly in price from framer to framer) for the work stretched  you  only need the measurements of the artwork for a quote. If you are wanting a frame as well you will need to choose the frame you want. 

If you decide to add an exterior frame I suggest choosing a frame that matches your home rather than matching the painting. ie if you have natural timber choose a timber frame, if you have a lot of white trim choose a white frame.

Please you must measure your space! I can't emphasize this enough. I try to make the images as representative as possible to the size of the work but this is not a replacement for measuring your own space.  Artists  pay for the freight and this is not reimbursed if a painting is returned. Freight is now very expensive even to send a work in a roll. I send large work in a roll because its the safest way to send a painting and also keeps the price down for the buyer.
