Solace

This is an original abstract landscape artwork that consists of acrylic paint and gauche, that is part of my Dreamscapes series that centres around my intuitive response to emotion and place. 'Solace' reflects the quiet joy and connection found on my bushwalking trails and also along the Nepean River near my home. Through layered textures and organic movement, I explore the sensory discoveries that continually inspire me. for this artwork I chose to focus on using a calming colour palette with some earthy tones of ochre, blue, white and a lot of greens. As I wanted to capture a feeling of comfort without heaviness and calm without the emptiness. This grounded creation would certainly lift any mood or space. 

This artwork consists of professional quality canvas that is varnished for protection, the sides are painted in a blue colour, signature is on the front and back and includes a certificate of authenticity.
