Our beautiful eucalypt trees and their flowers are an unending source of pleasure and inspiration for me. The flowing leaves whispering in the breeze, the beautiful colours and structure of the flowers in are unlike any other flower….a wonder of nature that I love to capture with my pencils. Drawing this artwork gave me such a sense of peace as my pencil seemed to find it’s own way, leaving me to sit back and wonder at natures glory. This is a large work at 42 x 59 cm unframed and will bring life and serenity to any room. I created this beautiful artwork with my usual favoured medium of professional artists coloured pencil on Grafix drafting film. Both the medium and the surface are designed to last a lifetime and the bold, vibrant colours will stay just as vivid in 50+ years as they are today if framed behind UV glass or perspex out of direct sunlight.
