Sentry On The Bay

I painted this scene to hold a single quiet moment. A white lighthouse standing steady against a wide, sleeping sea. A few small white seabirds hover near the tower, tiny gestures that bring life and scale without disturbing the quiet. The mood I was after was contemplative, solitude that is not lonely, a stillness that carries reassurance. The lighthouse is both a physical marker and a metaphor, steady, watchful, and offering direction across an expansive, calm sea. 
This painting is painted on the edges, so a frame is not required.
The artwork is signed on the bottom, right side of the frame, and a certificate of authenticity is supplied.
