In this painting I have put some new techniques into practice after attending an inspiring art workshop. I have painted a bit more loosely, leaving brush marks, having soft edges and painting less detail. The subject of the painting is the Australian coast, reminding me of some of my favourite coastal places like Noosa and Byron Bay, but it could be any Australian beach location.
