Inspired by a recent walk on the ‘White Sands’ track at Jervis Bay, NSW, when the white sandy beach below was peeking through these awesome specimens. I was fascinated to learn that the scribbles are made by a moth which leaves the distinctive marks by burrowing into the bark.
