I visited two World War ll observation posts after my during a recent trip to Darwin 2026. These installations were built during the height of the war in defense of a potential sea and land invasion. Unfortunately, it was an air invasion.
They now sit idle along a popular coastal reserve trail as a subtle reminder of our historic military past in Darwin.
It's allowing the viewer to shine a perspective of our defence strategy leaving us all with a reminder to admire our past by the use of my cloisonnistic traits of bold colour and black line. It highlights the beauty of our northern frontier. I hope you like x
