These beach scenes are based on my memory of going to the beach in the sixties, with my modern young mum who had bikinis in several different colours and was quite the beach babe, with a big straw beach bag and striped umbrella. We went to Coolangatta, Surfers or Burleigh and I would float in the waves for hours.
