The Retro series continues with a Polaroid land camera 2.
Polaroid land camera is another in the realist style. The second Polaroid in the retro series. This time I've deliberately balanced realism with a slightly looser style. Showing areas of detail mixed with areas of the sealed unpainted board showing through.
Painted in several layers over the course of several weeks.
It is eye catching and really pops!

This new series began a while ago with a painting of an original Polaroid camera. The 80's may now be retro, but for some of us, it was simply called childhood. Polaroids, Walkmans, Vinyl, VHS and cassette tapes. Definitely a trip down memory lane. If you're old enough to remember :)
