This painting is a direct response to the beautiful, unscripted chaos of daily life. I am not interested in creating a sterile, photographic record of my environment; instead, I paint the emotional resonance of a memory. This piece stems from those familiar, sensory-rich evenings spent in the suburbs, long nights listening to music, sharing a bottle of wine with Panga, and laughing through those funny, imperfect moments we all experience but so often rush past.
