The Palm Cockatoo is a facinating Australian parrot. The male will select a thin branch, break it off with his powerful beak and he will rap on a tree near a carefully selected hole in a tree until he attracts a female. They mate for life. Each males beat is unique. They love to break open coconuts with ease. Around thier beaks there is this leathery skin that stands out as uniquely to the Palm Cockatoo.
