This petite artwork captures the warmth and character of the Australian outback, with glowing ochre and golden tones stretching beneath a soft blue sky. I’ve used loose, instinctive brushwork and spontaneous marks to suggest the dry landscape, scattered trees and distant forms, with a few playful birds adding a sense of movement. I love the contrast between the fiery earth and the cool sky, creating a work that feels both energetic and beautifully open.
