Once upon a time

Once upon a time, acrylic painting by Marijke Lambregtse is much about contemplating the past and the future we are facing here on our precious planet and how we go about this. Environmental issues (droughts, floods, storms etc) as well as humanitarian issues (unnecessary wars, broken people, families, lost souls), play a big part in my work although in subtle ways which I hope comes across to the viewers. 
I chose bright colours to inspire a positive vibe, hope and happiness and at the same time when viewing this colorful work to remind us to take action.
Comes varnished, signed on the back with a certificate of authenticity stamp
