Noosa Spit, Queensland

This beautiful artwork of Noosa Spit in Queensland was created using mostly acrylic paints together with some ink work.  I took some photographs just as the sun was setting over Mount Cooroy from the Noosa Spit area and then back at my studio I created this work.  The painting captures lush greenery, sandy shores and tranquil waters.  A gorgeous composition which features a calm body of water that mirrors the soft, cloud-streaked sky above, creating a harmonious balance between the earth and sky.  It is a large painting and perfect for modern interiors.  The original seascape adds a splash of colour and warmth to minimalist spaces.  Also suitable for a lounge, office or reception area.  I loved painting this seascape!
