New Holland Honeyeater on Kangaroo Paws framed original

The beautiful birds of Australia have inspired my paintings for years and I love to paint the birds that visit my garden.  Living on a golf course, my garden is full of nature's amazing native birds and New Holland honeyeaters are amongst the birds that regularly visit to frolic in my birdbath. One of their favourite plants for nectar is the kangaroo paw and that is the reason I have incorporated this plant into my painting. The yellow of the flowers complements the yellow feathers in this bird's tail and wings. The painting is framed in a pine floating frame with a cord at the back ready to hang and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
