"Nasturtiums" is an original, detailed acrylic on canvas painting by Laurine Field. The inspiration for the painting was a vibrant expanse of nasturtiums at the beautifully tended gardens of Hobbiton in New Zealand. Since visiting the gardens, the artist has succeeded in growing the plants at home and loves to add the leaves to salad sandwiches. The orange and yellows of the flowers are so alive.
This delightful acrylic on canvas has painted grey edges and a wire on the back making it ready to hang. Alternatively, this painting could be displayed on a book display stand or small easel.
Paintings are carefully and promptly wrapped and packed in a cardboard box, ensuring safe delivery. Recycled packaging materials are utilised when available.
About the artist: Laurine paints images of bushland, botanic gardens, flowers and clouds. She has a Master of Creative Arts (Painting), works part-time as an art teacher and has been painting for thirty years. Nature connection, colour, and lifeforce are key drivers in her painting practice. Paintings have an energising and peaceful atmosphere.
