Texture, movement, and contrast. I hope I've conveyed the dances of clouds as strong winds take over. I love the balance between the dark foreground and the bright burst of clouds behind it.
This is a technique where I've incorporated wax into my paint, giving the final piece a gorgeous matte appearance. No need for varnish because the matte effect is intentional, and because the wax adds a layer of protection anyway. However, the paint surface will be as hard as a candle so please avoid scratches and get it framed.
