Many photos are to be seen on various tourist publications of this Iconic attraction Whitehaven. This painting was however painted from one of my dear sisters photos. Many years ago she and her husband flew over this beautiful vista. I have always had in mind that one day I would paint it.
It is painted on a beautiful Belgium Canvas and professionally stretched. I have attached a photo of the back showing the quality of the linen.
