Light Play explores the quiet interaction between light, water, and atmosphere within a tranquil coastal landscape. Soft reflections stretch across the surface of the water as shifting clouds open to reveal a luminous break in the sky, creating a sense of calm, movement, and depth.

Layered tones of blue, grey, and white work together to capture the changing mood of the coastline that fleeting moment where light transforms both sea and sky. The distant shoreline and softened forms invite the viewer into a space of stillness and contemplation.

Part of Debbie Noonan’s ongoing seascape collection, this work reflects her connection to the Western Australian coastline and her fascination with light, mood, and the emotional pull of the ocean.
