Let It All Go

"We all have special places that serve as safe spaces. Apart from the comfort of home, when I need to get away from the challenges, frustrations, and pains of normal day to day life (if there is such a thing as a normal) I come here. Many of us do.

The coast is one of those places that consistently invites us to let go.

Here, the noise of the world is drowned out by the rise and fall of tides, breakers crashing into shoreline, and gusty breezes that help lift the weight and carry away tensions.

Standing almost defiant against the world, it's here on a rocky shoreline I pause...and reflect...and scream...and cry...and pray...and breathe. Here I can safely let it all go, finding solace, comfort, and hope despite the tempest swirling around me, and within."

Created with palette knives on high grade artist quality canvas, this small yet bold artwork is framed in solid Oak and comes satin varnished. It will come with a COA with the artist statement written on the back.

NB: While every effort is made to capture the true colours and details of my artwork, every screen is different and art viewed online does not do my work justice. Slight differences may be evident between a screen image and the true tone and textures of my work, which can be more vivid and beautiful in reality. Scale may also be slightly off due to the insitu art app used, so please ensure you measure your space.
