Leopard Squared

A sleek leopard prowls with quiet intensity, its muscular body poised in mid-stride. It's whole body radiating stealth, power, and primal elegance. In stark contrast with a background of vivid blocks of ochre, cobalt blue, burnt orange, dark green, cream and charcoal black, mimicing all the colours in it's fur. These sharp lines and intersecting shapes creating a sense of movement and tension that mirrors the leopard’s predatory grace. A striking fusion of wild realism and abstract geometry, the composition captures the untamed spirit of nature through the bold, expressive language of cubist art.

I loved creating this piece of artwork and would like to thank the talented John Cameron for his permission to use his outstanding photograph as a reference.
