We always have a couple of Kookaburras visit our property on a regular basis and they sit proudly and with no apology, sing and laugh. And why shouldn’t they, as they are known as the ‘King of the Bush’. I managed to photograph one of them while they sat in our Jacaranda tree and just had to draw this wonderful bird.
I chose to draw this piece in graphite using Faber Castell Matte Pitt graphite pencils on the acid free Strathmore 300 bristol smooth paper. All materials will last a lifetime if framed behind uv glass.
