Home in the Hills

I was inspired by this lovely old home in the undulating countryside of south, Western Australia. Built by the pioneers, these old homes are slowly disappearing unfortunately, therefore I like to capture them in oils on canvas so their characteristic charm can be forever remembered.

A moderately textured landscape spontanously painted using mainly brush. Artist quality oil paint on double thick stretched canvas. The sides are 4cm thick and are painted consistent with the colour scheme of the subject.
