This rainbow lorikeet is having a lovely time amongst the red flowers in the drunken parrot tree or scientifically known as Schotia Brachypetala.
The tree is given this name because the excess nectar in the flowers can ferment becoming alcoholic. This can lead to birds appearing drunk when they consume the nectar. There is a tree in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens where the rainbow lorikeets are known to hang out all day long.
