SPECIAL. This is a mini version of my Flowering Gum Tree. This painting was simply inspired by going for a morning run and I saw a beautiful flowering gum tree and loved how the branches hung. I took some photos for reference and then I created this abstract painting. The background colours are a mix of coastal moody blues plus greeny blues, pinks, deep blues, yellows, fusia, purple, metallic gold and white. The branches, leaves and flowers are also inspired by line or lino art. Painted around the edges ready to hang.
