In this painting, I aimed to highlight the striking contrast that defines them—specifically how those vibrant blue feathers pop against the soft, muted greens and delicate blossoms of a flowering gum. This work is a celebration of the quiet, fleeting moments of beauty that make our natural landscape so remarkable. It serves as a sincere tribute to one of our most iconic and well-loved native birds.
