The selection of colours in this piece was inspired by a fellow artist. From the initial choice of colours the art took on a direction of its own. My aim was to create a beautiful abstract but I must have been thinking of the conflict in Ukraine because the work turned out to be my interpretation of two powerful forces meeting to attempt to solve a conflict.
As with abstract intuitive art one never knows just how a painting will evolve. This turned out to be a strong painting dealing with a serious issue,yet I feel it is quite interesting and thought provoking.
