Chris Ringland North Barossa Shiraz - Print

Chris Ringland is considered to be one of the more important wine makers in Australia with Chris's wines are highly sought after around the world.  The North Barossa Shiraz is made in collaboration with Adrian Hoffman and only small batches are produced.

The painting depicts a bottle of shiraz, the bottle has embossing above and below the label, with the same pattern as the cork.  A jar full of corks and a French Laguiole corkscrew sit nearby.  I painted this with an appreciation of modern realist still life in mind.

The original painting was taken upon completion.
