Bradshaw figures were painted throughout the Kimberley area of NW Australia, many thousands of years ago. Very different from more recent pre-colonial rock art, they were sinuous figures with sashes, tassels & other ornamentations. This image was taken in the central Gibb Road area & was quite small (approx. 30cm high).Â
