Blue Fairy Wren on Jacaranda

I wanted to paint a fleeting moment during a warm Spring. An energetic little fairy wren is taking a break from his usually hectic day, resting among the flowers of a Jacaranda tree. I am trying to find a balance between the active, bold little bird and the gentle, brief journey of the purple flowers.
The edges of this artwork are painted, so no frame is required.
The painting is signed on the bottom, left-hand side of the frame, and a certificate of authenticity is supplied.
