Beginnings

Water comes here sometimes. Perhaps once a year after heavy rain you can almost hear the bush sigh with pleasure as water seeps from the hill above until the ancient ground - unaccustomed to moisture - can take no more and the water eeks a path down the gully through dips and shadows that will keep it cool enough to live a while. 

This narrow gorge has a special place in my heart, as a sight on a regular walk up the ridge near my home. 

This is an original oil painting on a 4cm gallery wrapped canvas. The edges are painted off-white for a finished look, unframed. The piece is signed on the front and will arrive wired and ready to hang. You will also receive a hand-signed certificate of authenticity.
