Whenever I visit my parents outside of Ballarat, never did I stop and marvel at the oldest continuously operating fire station in the Southern Hemisphere, until just recently!
It's an amazing structure of historical and architectural significance considering its age which dates back to the gold rush era.
My colour and line technique allows me to enhance the red brick colour with structural lines and shapes. It breathes a living piece of heritage in modern day society and a must to paint for those who love history, nostalgia and striking architecture. I hope you like Ballarat like I do x
