"Backyard Palms" is a rendition of a picture I took of my backyard garden one day, palm trees featured heavily in this backyard. For this piece, I added various other tropical plants taken from a search for tropical leaves. I love the dense foliage of tropical gardens, even if they don't do so well in the Perth climate! I love the deep green hues and with the added turquoise blues, this painting gives a sense of being on holiday surrounded by lush tropical forests.
This is a medium sized canvas, at 30" x 30" (76cm x 76cm).
