Painted from a bird's eye view perspective, this mixed media artwork was inspired by my love of aerial views. I feel it is a wonderful form of escapism, imagining the gorgeous colours and shapes where land and sea merge in a reef system. The colours are extremely vivid & there are some complex textures and many layers of overlapping glazes. Please take the time to view the thumbnail images, as I have photographed them to capture the tetures. I have also signed the painting on the corner, diagonally, as it can be hung in either vertical or horizontal positions and I have fixed both hanging wires.
