The Online Art Gallery
1. Program Overview
The Online Art Gallery Artist Referral Program (“Referral Program”) rewards artists who invite other artists to join the platform. Each valid referral gives the referring artist an entry into a monthly draw to receive their next sale commission-free.
2. Eligibility

The Referral Program is open to all artists aged 18 years and over.

New artist accounts do not need to be approved by The Online Art Gallery to participate.

Artists must be registered on the platform to be eligible to be referred.

Once an artist registers, they may immediately begin referring others and may also be referred themselves.

Self-referrals are not permitted.
3. How the Referral System Works

During registration, new artists will be asked to name the artist who referred them.

The referring artist’s name must be entered at the time of sign-up.

Referrals cannot be added, changed, or backdated after registration is completed.
4. Valid Referrals
A referral is considered valid when:

The referred artist is a new registrant to The Online Art Gallery; and
-
The referring artist is correctly named during the registration process and
- The referred artist uploads at least one artwork or hand-made product(s) onto the site.
5. Program Duration & Draw Schedule

The Referral Program will initially run for six (6) months.

Monthly draws will take place, with winners announced on:

Each valid referral counts as one entry into the next scheduled draw.
6. Reward - Commission-Free Sale

Each monthly draw winner will receive their next sale commission-free.

This applies to the very next completed sale made through The Online Art Gallery after the win is awarded.

“Commission-free” means The Online Art Gallery’s standard commission fee is waived for that single sale only (unless an artist draws more than once).

Shipping/postage and insurance costs remain the responsibility of the artist.

There is no expiry period on using the commission-free sale - it will automatically apply to the artist’s next sale, whenever that occurs.
7. Limits

Artists may win more than once across the six-month period, provided they are drawn again.

Each win applies to one sale only and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.
- Artists winning more than once, will have their next consecutive sale commission waived.
8. Fair Use
The Online Art Gallery reserves the right to:

Disqualify referrals that are fraudulent, misleading, or intentionally manipulated.

Remove entries where the referral process has not been followed correctly.

Make final decisions regarding eligibility, entries, and winners.
9. Changes to the Program
The Online Art Gallery may extend, modify, or conclude the Referral Program after the initial six-month period. Any changes will be communicated via the website and social media channels.
10. Acceptance
Participation in the Referral Program constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. All decisions made by The Online Art Gallery regarding the Referral Program are final.

Who can take part in the referral program?
Any artist aged 18 or over can take part.
Can I refer artists as soon as I sign up?
Yes. Once you register, you can immediately refer other artists - and you can also be referred yourself.
How many artists can I refer?
There is no limit. Each referral gives you another entry into the next draw.
Do referred artists need to upload artwork or make a sale?
The new artist will be required to upload artwork or hand-made product(s) as per the site Terms and Conditions. The artist being referred does not need to upload and new works or make a sale to be eligable.
What exactly does “commission-free sale” mean?
It means The Online Art Gallery will not take its standard commission on your next sale only (unless winning on multiple draws). Shipping/Postage and insurance costs still apply and are borne by the artist.
When do I need to use my commission-free sale by?
There is no expiry. It will apply automatically to your next sale, whenever that happens.
What if two artists say they referred the same person?
Only the referrer named during registration will be recognised.
How will winners be announced?
Winners will be announced monthly on Facebook and other social media channels and contacted directly.
